John Henry Parkin 

 

  Birth: 29 January 1950 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, USA

  Death: 10 June 1972 in Bad Kreuznach, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany

 

 

John Henry Parkin, named for his paternal grandfather, was born to Ernest Parkin (1913-1981) and Naomi Phillips (1912-1976). He was the second son of his mothers second marriage. He had six siblings total, with two being full siblings.

As a young man he joined the army and was stationed in Germany. It was there where he died from accidently drowning in the Rhine River. Only two years earlier, he had lost his brother, William Rees Pulsipher.

  1. Hillary, Im the baby in this family, Johnny was 18 months older than me and my best friend. I cannot ever thank you enough for all the work you have completed on all of our family. You are so awesome, I dont know if you remember me. I stayed at your house in Washington when Laurie Sue was so ill, Your grandpa Keith was my oldest brother, your DAD is my favorite nephew.
